I can't agree with you more on buying from local farmers. The food is more nutritious and most often cheaper. You do, however, have to be more conscious of 'shelf life' as they don't have all the preservatives added, therefore they spoil much quicker. I find, cooking with locally grown fruits and vegetables, the foods are much richer in flavor, and tastes much better!! :)

I didn't go to prom either, so my closest experiance was about 2 years ago when I went to a mascarade ball. :) I had a lot of fun and it helped me 'get over' missing out on prom. lol!

My family and I went to the zoo as well. We went to the one in Columbia, SC. It was great, but yes, I was drained for the next 2 days! LOL!
